Quality management

Quality Management is all about monitoring and improving the quality of your product (or process), based on statistical techniques (e.g. control charts, sampling, experimental design), certification (e.g. ISO 9001), optimization (e.g. planning) or continous improvement (e.g. six sigma projects).

Goal of the course

Students are expected to study a real-life case to which they can apply the quality management concepts that were discussed in class.

A briefing document, a dataset, time to sit together with the students (in particular to explain the problem details, and to provide feedback on their (intermediate) solution).
